Hiding Place Ministry is happy to legally ordain any member who has accepted Christ as his or her personal Savior, feels called into the Christian Ministry and has been approved by the board of directors of Hiding Place Ministry.
It is the position of Hiding Place Ministry that, since Jesus required no particular schooling or education of his disciples, but only that they sincerely answer His call into His ministry, which is also a part of HPM guidelines for ordination.
The Biblical foundations for our beliefs in this matter are the following verses:
Mark 16:15
"Jesus said to them, go into all the world and preach the Good News to all creation."
2Timothy 4:2
"Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke, and encourage - with great patience and careful instruction."
2Timothy 4:5
"But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, and discharge all the duties of your ministry."
This ordination allows the member to legally use the title Reverend or Pastor title before his or her name, and to perform all standard Christian services, including the rites of marriage and baptism. After your ordination has been approved by HPM, you will also need to have a Certificate of Fellowship that shows you’re in Good Standing with HPM. This is to comply with some local, state and federal regulations, pastors are being required to show that they are in fellowship with an established organization.
To meet those requirements they must prove the following:
1. Report at least once a year to the organization they are ordained with.
2. Financially contribute to the organization.
To comply with this we have create the Certificate of Fellowship with reporting and a contribution of $20.00 per year in January.
Once you have been approved for ordination, you will receive a separate email requesting the required Fellowship Donation to compy with the Federal, State, and Local requirements. Upon reciept of the Fellowship Donation your Complete Ordination Package will be sent to you by email for you to print, which includes the following:
Ordination Certificate
Certificate of Fellowship
HPM Id card
NOTE: HPM ID cards are only good through January of each year. Upon completing your Certificate of Fellowship requirements in January of each year, a new HPM Id card will be sent to you by email.

With this in mind, Hiding Place Ministry feels it is an honor, indeed, a sacred duty to legally ordain its members in good standing who decides to answer Christ's call into His ministry.
